He turns crop-disease risk into decision-grade intelligence for reinsurers and commodity traders.
Noel Boadi is an Analyst at Bloomberg and a Machine Learning Researcher at Cornell who, in 2025, founded Argentis, an agricultural-AI startup that predicts crop disease. He came up through Morehouse College and a five-internship run — Goldman Sachs twice, Google, Maximus, and IHG — building AI security tools and then the governance frameworks around them. Food is the thread that started earliest: a fifth-grade cold-frame garden in McLean, Virginia, in 2014.

In 2025 Boadi founds Argentis, an agricultural-AI startup predicting crop disease, securing non-dilutive funding and driving its Food Security Risk Intelligence platform into pilot. That summer he co-develops IHG's first AI Tool Risk Assessment Framework. By 2026 he adds a Machine Learning Researcher seat at Cornell and a full-time Bloomberg analyst role.
“I also lead Argentis, an agricultural intelligence startup that predicts crop disease. Recently, we secured non-dilutive funding and are piloting our platform.”
At Morehouse, Boadi runs a four-internship string — Goldman's Market Madness, Google STEP, Maximus, and Goldman engineering — while co-founding Auntie's Spot, the first Black student-run food truck in the U.S. His 2024 Goldman work is the technical peak: LLM-trained threat detection cutting response times 50%.
“On campus, I co-founded Auntie's Spot, the first Black student-run food truck in the United States, now serving thousands of late-night meals across the Atlanta University Center.”
The earliest record of Boadi is McLean, Virginia. In 2014, as a Churchill Road Elementary fifth grader, he helps build cold frames to carry lettuce, broccoli, and sugar-pea seedlings through a colder-than-average winter — work that wins a $1,000 Safe Community Coalition grant. He finishes at Langley High School's 2021 orchestra cohort before leaving for Morehouse.
